Hookin' Up on the Yellow

Yah...go ahead and daydream. This beats sitting at the office.
Netting these cutthroats was such a blast.
Playing with the Big Boys! Sweet picture Dave.

The reel In-Fisherman. To bad I was the only one who caught the 2 rainbow trout of the trip. But Dave here did catch more white fish than I did. Something to be proud of Dave. J/K

I feel like I'm becoming a trout bum. Someone told me on this trip that the true slogan is
"The Tug is the Drug."

Hookin' Up on the Yellow

Day 2 and the fun has just begun. Weather was hot and the fish were hungry.
I love to fish...can you tell?
Imitating the salmon fly isn't to hard to do since they are like a size 2.
Holding these beautiful creations in the palm of your hand is like no other.
Catch & Release...the only true way to fish.

It is pretty nice to take lessons from the Pro's like Dave here. He always seems to know where the next hook up will be.

Hookin' Up on the Yellow

When you imagine fun fishing, you imagine days like this. This Cutthroat trout was pushing over the 20" mark. Nothing beats fighting a fish with a big fluffy salmon fly.
The majestic Elk are what make Yellowstone Park so enchanting.
Couldn't get much closer than this unless you were riding him. This male Bison was walking up the road when we came passing by. You could literally put your hand out and touch him...But then again, he could roll our car with one head butt, literally!
The mighty Yellowstone River. I'll miss Her.
